HTM Team Members

Narelle has been working for HTM Community Transport since September 2007 and has been the driving force behind the service over the last few years. She has seen it grow from a service into a valuable Community Transport service that many residents would be lost without. Having lived her entire life in the Mackay region she has excellent knowledge of the local community and this adds to her experience of the transport structure available within the district which is very limited. Narelle still jumps into the vehicles and assists driving staff with transport when the demand is high.

As the Operations Manager she tries to select staff that are dedicated to HTM's clients and this reflects in the clients opinions of their service provision.

Having over 25 years of experience working with disabled and elderly people having a son of her own with a profound disability and another with a mental illness gives her a good insight into what people are looking for and is very supportive towards Carers and family members.

She tries to provide a service that is there for as many community members as possible and offers a flexible service to help cater to individual requests for assistance.

Over the coming year there will be many changes happening within the Aged Care and Disability Sector but one thing for sure, you will still find the same and that's Narelle's willingness to offer a helping hand for your transport needs. She takes extreme pride in knowing that clients feel comfortable to approach her if they have concerns and is only to willing to help find a solution as quickly as possible.

Her goal is to see HTM Community Transport remain a viable Community Transport service well into the coming years and to see it expand its services within the region to cater to the growing demand.

Belinda brings with her a wealth of local knowledge and culture having grown up in the local area she knows her way around the local community which is import when assessing and booking clients.

She has 10 years experience working with Elderly and disabled and this shows in her compassion towards peoples needs. She is a quiet achiever who is well liked by the clients,staff and carers. Having  achieved a Certificate three in Aged Care and Home and Community care this shows the level of skill that she is able to bring to HTM. Belinda is a very dedicated worker and has been with HTM for nearly seven years this year. She is very organised and is the core of the Office and scheduling clients transport.

She is very professional in her work ethics and is a valuable employee to the service. Her local knowledge allows her to schedule clients transport needs efficiently. Her friendly voice is a well recognised part to HTM's service when ever you contact the office.
